Managing partner and founder of Ideas, she has more than 20 years of experience in Intellectual Property matters. She is well known for trademarks prosecution in the region, with experience in managing big trademark portfolios. She is also head of the anticounterfeiting department which is constantly looking for enforcement solutions for clients ranging from luxury brands to consumer products. Active member of the Costa Rican Bar Association, of different Intellectual Property Associations and founding member of the Professional Intellectual Property Association.

Ana Cristina Arroyave

She has more than 20 years of experience in Intellectual Property Matters and is Head of the International Department. Ana focuses on trademark prosecution management in Central America and has a unique knowledge of Central America´s jurisdictions. She assists clients with different needs and budgets in the management of their IP Portfolios, working with decision makers to ensure a smooth registration and managements process.

MELISA MORA MARTIN

Partner and Director of the Enforcement Department, with more than 19 years of experience in the Intellectual Property realm. Melissa centers her practice as an enforcement lawyer in trademark counterfeiting processes, as well as developing protection strategies for trademark and patent portfolios throughout the region. She is an Active Member of the Costa Rican Bar Association, APPICR; as well as several international IP organizations: INTA, IACC, ASIPI. Additionally, she is part of the Board of Directors of the Illicit Trade Observatory of the Costa Rica Chamber of Commerce.

Angélica Argüello

She has more than 18 years of experience in Intellectual Property matters in Nicaragua. Has worked with several national and international companies managing large trademark portfolios and Intellectual Property litigation and administrative procedures. She has also participated in Due Diligence processes.

Roberto Argüello

Marcela Mancía

Based in El Salvador and with more than 20 years of experience in matters related to Intellectual Property rights, she has a vast experience in the Regulatory area for food, beverages, natural supplements, medicines, medical devices, veterinary products and cosmetics both in El Salvador and other Central American countries. She also focuses on counseling on promotions, sweepstakes, contests and other sales incentives, and related Intellectual Property matters.

Gustavo Noyola

Gustavo is a lawyer with more than 12 years of experience in Intellectual Property, both in the administration of high volume portfolios at a regional level, as well as in the fight against piracy. He is currently the Guatemalan delegate for ASIPI, Alternate Member of the Guatemalan Chamber of Intellectual Property, Member of the Anti-Piracy Committee of ASIPI and ECTA, member of the Enforcement Committee of INTA, ambassador of IPO.

Gonzalo Menéndez

Gonzalo is a lawyer with more than 15 years of experience in the intellectual property area, managing high volume portfolios at a regional level, as well as in the corporate intellectual property area. His expertise focuses on advising clients in relation to technology and information agreements, sale and assignment, non-disclosure agreements (NDA), confidentiality agreements, memorandum of understanding (MOU), work agreements, agency agreements, trademark/patent license and technology transfer, franchise agreements, distribution agreements, manufacturing agreements and participation agreements, among others.

Leyla has over 14 years of experience in the legal field. Her career has spanned two countries, Haiti, and Canada, where she worked in both the public and private sector. For nearly a decade, she has gained experience in the Intellectual Property field in Haiti.
Throughout her career, Leyla has had the privilege of collaborating with numerous national and international companies, playing a pivotal role in the management of trademark portfolios and the execution of complex Intellectual Property procedures. Leyla possesses extensive knowledge and familiarity with the nuances of Intellectual Property laws and practices in Haiti and across the french speaking Caribbean region.

Nekeisha Persaud, an Attorney-at-Law and Certified Intellectual Property Agent, holds degrees from the University of Guyana and Hugh Wooding Law School, and was admitted to the Guyana Bar in 2016. With an MBA and experience in managing family businesses, Nekeisha skillfully handles both civil and criminal cases. Her legal acumen is further enhanced by an LL.M in Oil and Gas obtained in 2020, leading her to run an independent legal practice. She's also a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Community and a trained Climate Reality leader.
